EVENT DESCRIPTION: GANS is hosting an all-day professional development seminar on 'Digital Twins Technology and Building Information Modelling (BIM)'! The GANS Professional Development Days provide all community members with an opportunity to network and hear the experiences of specialists within a unique geospatial field. Each Professional Development Day Event will focus on a new field or area for each, to showcase the overall impact of the geomatics sector on every function in our economy and society. WHEN: Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 10:00am to 4:30pm WHERE: Halifax Central Library, Spring Garden Road, Halifax (Room 301) ATTENDANCE FEE: Attendance costs $75 or $60 for GANS members. This Pitch Competition, powered by Cox & Palmer, is an excellent opportunity to practice your pitch, fine-tune your deck, and get feedback from peers and industry professionals. You will also gain valuable experience presenting to investors, and potential early adopters. Plus, you never know who may be sitting in the audience! Each competition will have a judging panel, comprised of entrepreneurs, potential investors and community leaders.
