Next Level Skills is training for people working in Nova Scotia's tech sector. Digital Nova Scotia has delivered it with Nova Scotia's Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI) for over 10 years, so eligible members pay 25% of the course cost.

How it Works
Next Level Skills Program
Digital Nova Scotia will facilitate the funding process based on the information provided in your application. Employees must be receiving full-time compensation while in training to be eligible for WIPSI funding. This may include employees who are full-time seasonal.
To apply your organization must
- Be a paid Digital Nova Scotia member before the program start date.
- Be located in Nova Scotia and be registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks or incorporated by an act of the Nova Scotia legislature for at least one year.
Funding support available
- Members are eligible for funding for up to 75% of direct training costs
- Up to a maximum of $10,000, any amount over $10,000 is cost-shared at 50%.
- The member prices listed for each course already include this funding.

What do I pay?
Eligible members pay 25% of the course value, plus HST. The price for each course is in the table above and on its course page.
Do I need to be a Digital Nova Scotia member?
Yes. Your organization needs to be a paid Digital Nova Scotia member before the course starts. Membership options are at digitalnovascotia.com/memberships.
Can we register more than one person?
Yes. There is no limit on how many people a business can register, and you can send people to different courses at the same time.
Each participant needs to attend at least 60 percent of the classes and submit all required documents.
Are the courses in person or online?
All four 2027 courses are delivered virtually. Each course page lists its dates and format.
