Designed specifically for small-to-medium businesses in Nova Scotia, this course addresses the need for efficient, real-time data analytics and reporting, helping organizations move beyond static spreadsheets to dynamic, self-service analytics.

How it Works

Digital Nova Scotia will facilitate the funding process based on the information provided in your application. Employees must be receiving full-time compensation while in training to be eligible for WIPSI funding. This may include employees who are full-time seasonal.

To apply your organization must

Be a paid Digital Nova Scotia member before the program start date.
Be located in Nova Scotia and be registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks or incorporated by an act of the Nova Scotia legislature for at least one year.

Funding support available

Members are eligible for funding for up to 75% of direct training costs
Up to a maximum of $10,000, any amount over $10,000 is cost-shared at 50%.
The cost for this program with the funding support is $351.10 + HST per person.

What do I need to know before joining?

This course is for experienced professionals who are very comfortable with Excel. Power BI experience isn't listed as a requirement.

What does it cost?

$351.10 + HST per person for eligible Digital Nova Scotia members. The full course value is $1,404.38 + HST. The member price already includes up to 75% funding through Nova Scotia's Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI).

Do I need to be a Digital Nova Scotia member?

Yes. Your organization needs to be a paid Digital Nova Scotia member before the course starts. Membership options are at digitalnovascotia.com/memberships.

Can we register more than one person?

Yes. There is no limit on how many people a business can register, and you can send people to different courses at the same time.

Each participant needs to attend at least 60 percent of the classes and submit all required documents.
