Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Prediction & Treatment Planning

Artificial intelligence (AI) research is poised to become a transformational force in healthcare, with potential applications being demonstrated across various clinical domains. However, there are currently limited examples of such techniques being successfully deployed into clinical practice. In this lecture, Dr. Jordan Engbers will present the general challenges of bringing AI into medicine, with a special focus on imaging and treatment planning. Jordan will discuss examples of failures and successes, and considerations for implementation in practice through the use of case studies for imaging, diagnosis, clinical prediction, and treatment planning. Applying Data Science in Healthcare

While there is considerable interest in developing data science models in healthcare, its application into clinical practice and healthcare decision-making can be challenging.
