Webinar: Managing People to Perform

During these uncertain times many organizations are adapting to the reality of working from home. This is a big adjustment for many businesses, especially for the managers who have to ensure these remote teams continue to thrive in the brave new world. To achieve this, managers must know their people on a DNA level. What drives them? What behavioural traits influence how they work? What do they need to be just as successful at home? The Predictive Index Behavioural Assessment allows managers to get an in-depth understanding of their people’s four main drives – dominance, extraversion, patience and formality. From this, they can learn who prefers email over phone calls, who likes to lead the group and who wants to be part of it, who will thrive in the details, and more. Understanding these drives and behaviours will affect how the remote team is structured to support the same success the team is used to achieving.   Please note: All registered participants will receive a free behavioural assessment to see what drives them. The link to this assessment will be in your confirmation email. Please complete the assessment prior to the webinar.  This 90-minute session gives you the opportunity to learn about the four factors, and […]

Value Stream Mapping for COVID-19: Finding the Path Forward

Value stream mapping is a Lean tool that visualizes and quantifies the activities from customer request to customer delivery. Chances are your value streams have been impacted significantly from COVID-19. Now is the time to understand your current state and make a plan for the future, using evidence-based decision making but also staying agile for what the future may bring. How can a value stream map help my organization today? If you are not familiar with value stream maps or value stream mapping workshops, you are likely not aware of the power of a value stream map to drive strategic and tactical decisions. There's a 99.9% chance that COVID-19 has disrupted your processes in some way. Demand has likely decreased (or increased). Processes that were once face-to-face have moved online. New activities have started and others have disappeared. A value stream map can quantify these changes and show where the new bottlenecks are, where there is capacity, and where there are wastes.   Register Now
