Opportunities & Wage Supports for Hiring Students in Nova Scotia

Hosted by Nova Scotia Business Inc.  Do you want to hire a student to join your business?  Did you know there is support available to assist you with funding a portion of the student's wages and matching/recruitment? Join us to learn more about co-op placements, summer student employment supports, and graduate hiring programs. This session is delivered in partnership with Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC),  NS Department of Labour and Advanced Education (LAE), and Dalhousie University. This session will cover the ICTC Work Integrated Learning program, LAE wage subsidy programming including for Co-operative Education Incentive, Graduate to Opportunity, and Innovate to Opportunity.  Dalhousie University SITE staff will talk about the student experience, the employer's responsibility, and what to expect from the process when you engage a co-op student.
