    More than 80% of NPower Canada alumni secure employment or enroll in higher education within 6 months of graduating, with 30-40% already placed into jobs upon completing training. Graduates launch digital careers in roles such as Help Desk Agent, Data Analyst, QA / Tester and Business Systems Analyst with companies like TELUS, Accenture and CIBC. NPower Canada is a registered charity launching underserved young adults ages 17-30 into meaningful digital careers. NPower Canada's virtually delivered programs provide youth with 15 weeks of no-cost, part-time tech skills training, including industry certifications, complemented by employability skills coaching and wraparound supports (including bus pass, interview clothing and laptops/WiFi based on financial need). Program participants are also connected directly with employers, job retention supports and five years of alumni services including continued education and mentorship. Youth do not need any prior background in tech to apply. They must have completed their high school, Dogwood or GED, and be eligible to work in Canada. NPower Canada prioritizes serving lower-income, un/underemployed youth who are female-identified, IBPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, newcomers and youth with disabilities.     Business Interruption, loss of reputation and financial burden are all burdens associated with a cyber breach, but what is the true cost? Experiencing a cyber breach can cause a number of issues such as, business interruption, loss of reputation and could mean a large financial burden in the case of having to make a ransom payment. But what is really the true cost of a cyber breach? After this webinar you will understand: Ransom payments are not the only cost of an attack. Business interruption can be more costly than the ransom, and is being sublimated by insurers. Reputational damage and notification expenses need to be part of the math at the front end when buying insurance.
