Through panel discussions and presentations, we will discover the potential of transportation and logistics opportunities. After having to postpone Game Jam Next in Yarmouth because of bad weather, they are back! Ignite has teamed up with ShiftKey Labs, Supernova, Dalhousie University and Y-Con to present a day of Game Design for those aged 12-17! Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a game developer? They believe that game development is for everyone! Any age, any background, anyone! Join Nova Scotia’s first Game Jam Next and learn new skills, meet new people, and most importantly, create your own game. The event will take place on April 1st at Ignite in Yarmouth. You can design a board game or a take a crack at designing a computer game. They will provide materials to help you make board games; if you're designing a computer game bring your own laptop. There will be a Nintendo Switch up for grabs, and Y-Con has provided a free pass to Y-Con in June to the favourite game. Lunch will be provided!
