Atlantic Labour Market Brief: September 2025

Canada Employment rose during the month by 60,400 jobs. Full-time jobs increased alongside fewer part-time. The rate of unemployment saw no change from last month, remaining at 7.1%. The goods-producing sector added jobs (+42,000), while the services-producing sector saw growth of 18,400 jobs.
