Atlantic Labour Market Brief: February 2025

Canada More people were working in February, with the addition of 1,100 jobs, making it the seventh consecutive monthly gain. Part-time jobs increased while full-time jobs declined. Canada Employment grew at a strong pace in January, up from the prior month by 76,000 jobs, making it the sixth consecutive monthly gain. The growth occurred in both full-time and part-time positions. The unemployment rate fell in the month to 6.6%, influenced by the solid job gains.
