- The rate of unemployment saw no change from last month, remaining at 6.4%.
- The goods-producing sector added jobs (+12,100), while the service sector saw job reductions of 14,800.

- Employment fell sharply in July, down from the previous month by 6,500 jobs.
- Part-time jobs increased while full-time jobs declined.
- The unemployment rate moved higher in the month to 7.7%, reaching its highest point since August 2022.
- The goods-producing sector lost jobs in July (-600), while the service sector saw job reductions of 6,000.
