At this virtual event, each student society will have three minutes to present their value proposition to the employer partners in attendance. Post-event, attendees will receive a document outlining each society, their focus, social media channels, and the name, phone number, and email of their key contact. You choose who you wish to follow up with and how to strengthen your employer brand within our Bachelor of Commerce Co-op, Bachelor of Management, and Corporate Residency MBA societies. Responding to Remote Work Ramifications

Online

Remote work took off with the COVID-19 pandemic – but it’s left a lasting legacy. Many (but not all) employers and employees continue to find benefits in remote and hybrid work. Whether you’re on board with remote workers or having second thoughts, there are ramifications. Can you call remote employees back to the office – or conversely require employees to remain as remote workers? What are the key risks of remote and hybrid workers? Are there tax implications of remote and hybrid workers? Join McInnes Cooper Labour & Employment Lawyers Alex Warshick and Abigail Herrington for a virtual roundtable conversation to help you respond to the ramifications of remote workers in your business. For members of CPHR (NS, NL, PEI), this session counts for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
