The theme is Digital Future: Ethics, Integrity, and Values. It is Saint Mary’s University’s goal to create community and dialogue around data ethics, digital citizenship, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in support of the Sobey School’s commitment to PRME and our new Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) program. Keynote speaker Juliette Powell is a consultant, researcher, and speaker whose expertise lies at the intersection of technology, business and ethics. Juliette advises large companies on the accelerating change that is underway due to AI-enabled technological innovation coupled with shifting social dynamics and heightened global competition. Her keynote will focus on AI leadership and how the digital transformation can coexist with ethical data sharing and analytics in business, education, transportation, banking, mobile, retail, and social gaming. The panel discussion “Data Analytics as Climate Action” will focus the conversation on the potential for big data and AI to advance an organization’s climate action goals.
