The three orders of government have moved quickly to develop programs to assist business through this public health crisis. This webinar is an opportunity for members of Nova Scotia’s Business Improvement Districts (NSBIDS) to hear directly from government officials and ask questions or share concerns regarding business programs and recovery plans. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, downtown and mainstreet businesses were the first and often the hardest hit. We have heard stories of despair and concern, but also of hope and innovation. In our collective efforts to continue to advocate on behalf of our business districts and work in partnership with our government, we hope you are able to join this webinar. Be part of Nova Scotia’s Virtual Hackathon against the COVID-19 Pandemic! In the COVID-19 Hackathon, students and professionals from diverse programs and fields work together in teams to find solutions for some of the challenges brought by the pandemic through innovation and entrepreneurship. Join Nova Scotia's Hackathon against the COVID-19 pandemic with ShiftKey Labs. In this 72-hour virtual hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds to overcome challenges brought by the Coronavirus. This hackathon has a maximum of 50 participants in order to maintain a professional and efficient virtual experience.
