WTWT Fireside Chat: Women Navigating Male Dominated Spaces

Join us for the WTWT Fireside Chat: Women Navigating Male Dominated Spaces with Sally Ng and Ashlee Donaher on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Sally and Ashlee combined have over 25+ years of working in entrepreneurship, technology and the corporate world. They both have worked in male dominated industries and environments such as military, engineering, aviation, tech startups, energy sector and more. They’ve experienced first hand many of the struggles that other women are facing having worked for small scaling startups to Fortune 1000 corporations. They’ve both organized and volunteered for countless community initiatives such as Techstars Startup Weekends and many others. They mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs and have helped judge and prep startups for pitch competitions and investment. They each have their own unique styles and methods of navigating situations that have oftentimes made them uncomfortable. This Fireside Chat will be an interactive session, where topics/themes will be brought forth as a group at the beginning of the event.

This is an interactive session that focuses on helping you navigate the intricacies of becoming an Entrepreneur About this event “So You Want To Be An Entrepreneur” is designed to help the participant investigate their entrepreneurial attitude and mindset by exploring both the emotional and practical aspects of business ownership. This Interactive session is focused on helping you assess the sometimes conflicting nuances between what is in your heart and what is in your head, ultimately bringing you to a decision point with regard to your entrepreneurial future. Participants will work through a series of exercises designed to assess entrepreneurial characteristics and personal motivations and the goals for their business. In addition, participants will explore the concept of an entrepreneurial and innovation mindset.
