Make Your Social Media Shine [Tuesdays – March 10th – April 14th]

Tuesdays 8:00am PST/12:00noon EST/1:00pm ATL/5:00PM GMT This six-week sprint focuses on teaching participants professional graphic design skills and applying them to social media. Week 1: Intro to Social Media & Canva: You’ll learn the basic pieces of branding, Canva and the anatomy of a social media post Week 2: Post Types & Canva Templates: You’ll learn how to identify which social media post types you need and how to choose the best templates in Canva. Week 3: Brand Style & Social Media: You’ll learn how to choose the best photos for your posts. Week 4: Graphic Design Skills- Readability & Hierarchy: You’ll learn some graphic design concepts and how to apply them in your social media posts. Week 5: Graphic Design Skills- Balance, Space & Symmetry: You’ll learn some more graphic design concepts and how to apply them in your social media posts. Week 6: Social Media Organization: You’ll learn how to organize everything you’ve made in Canva and update your brand guidelines with your social media style. Best for: entrepreneurs who want to level up their social media, Canva experience is required, a solid brand foundation (aka established brand guidelines) is also highly recommended

Shipping Your First Indie Game: Lessons From Indie Founders
