Artificial intelligence (AI) research is poised to become a transformational force in healthcare, with potential applications being demonstrated across various clinical domains. However, there are currently limited examples of such techniques being successfully deployed into clinical practice. In this lecture, Dr. Jordan Engbers will present the general challenges of bringing AI into medicine, with a special focus on imaging and treatment planning. Jordan will discuss examples of failures and successes, and considerations for implementation in practice through the use of case studies for imaging, diagnosis, clinical prediction, and treatment planning.
This webinar will be presented in English. A recording will be available with English and French subtitles.
