Elisa Chiu (https://www.linkedin.com/in/elisachiu/) operates at the intersection of tech innovation, investment and cross-border business development. She sailed from Wall Street as a hedge fund trader overseeing US$1 billion+ assets, and found her calling in Silicon Valley working around early stage entrepreneurs. In 2017, Elisa founded Anchor Taiwan (http://www.anchortaiwan.com/) to “bring the world to Taiwan through entrepreneurship.” She works with top founders and executives from Y Combinator, 500 Startups, Microsoft, Uber, Intel and many more for their strategic partnership and market exploration in Asia. As a part of Anchor Taiwan’s expansion, Elisa set up Anchor Venture Partners, an early stage investment platform to combine her passion for startups and her expertise in capital markets. Elisa was awarded 40 Under 40 Girls in Tech in 2018, and recognized as one of the 30 Women Power by New Taipei City Government in 2019.
