March 11, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am AST

Finance

Over the past two years, the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) has undergone a transformation in its culture and business operations. CDIC, which protects close to $1 trillion dollars in bank deposits, is a key part of Canada’s financial safety net.

We invite you to join us for this special virtual event “Building Resilience and Confidence in Canada’s Financial System” on March 11th from 10:00-11:00 am to hear from Peter Routledge, CEO, CDIC. Patrick Sullivan, President & CEO of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce will then host a Q&A with Peter to discuss this transformation and what it means for the financial deposits of Canadians.

Peter Routledge, President & CEO, CDIC will discuss some of the innovative thinking at CDIC and how it is making our financial system more resilient to failure, which supports financial stability, a key element of economic growth. Mr. Routledge is an engaging speaker with a strong message of confidence as Canada’s economic growth is restored in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
