Have you ever heard of disaster relief supply package drops? Disaster relief groups drop delicate supplies of food and equipment to people in areas very difficult to reach, often where no nearby roads, trains or airports are located.

Our challenge is to use what we know about energy (potential, kinetic, conservation of energy), and come up with creative ways to save the eggs! There will be prizes for the most creative, and most secure!

This workshop will be held in person at IGNITE, located at 352 East River Road, New Glasgow, NS!

What is tech{LAB}?

tech{LAB} is a FREE workshop that allows participants to get hands-on with new technology! These workshops are for anyone ages 8 and up who has an interest in technology, prototyping, or electronics.

What Happens at tech{LAB}?

Spend the first half-hour of each workshop going over the technical information on the topic and have a snack while learning the basics.

Take what you’ve just learned and apply it! Whether it’s designing a 3D print, taking photos, working in groups to develop circuits for a Micro-Bit, or creating digital graphics!
