The PIER 1209 Marginal Rd, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Some of the best sales lessons don’t come from books or courses—they come from messing it up, learning the hard way, and hearing how others handled the same challenge. This session is built around that idea. Join an interactive workshop led by seasoned sales expert, Ed Grant. Bring your toughest sales challenges—stuck deals, tricky calls, or persistent client questions. We'll share experiences, tackle common early-career pitfalls, and create a practical “Do This, Not That” guide for today’s sales landscape. 3 Key Takeaways Uncover common sales pitfalls—and how to handle them more effectively. Learn how others have navigated similar challenges through group discussion. Build your sales instincts through collaborative learning and peer feedback. Meet Your Presenter - Ed Grant Ed has spent the last 25+ years helping businesses grow - whether from the driver’s seat of a national sales team, or from behind the counter of a specialty coffee shop he co-owned for 7 years. Ed’s path has taken him through enterprise IT sales, professional services, recruiting, and small business leadership, and all of it has shaped who he is today.

Have you asked, with increasing frustration, “But where should I focus my marketing?” Or even more specifically, “Where do I post?! Facebook? TikTok? LinkedIn? In this workshop we’ll take you through Kelford Inc.’s Marketing Rangefinder process, so you can get that answer. Using our framework we’ll explore the four distances—Far, Close, Here, and Connected—at which all potential customers can be found. Find your best customers and know exactly what to say to them to bring them closer to you, closer to a purchase, and closer to your brand. 3 Key Takeaways  A framework to help you understand where your best customers are A process for knowing what to say, and when, to reach them A tool for creating marketing messages that bring customers closer to your business Meet your […]
