SomaDetect is seeking proposals from qualified IT service providers to deliver ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and support for our server and network infrastructure at our Pennant Point site, which operates with EastLink. Our goal is to ensure uninterrupted operation of our systems, with prompt resolution of issues through remote and on-site support as needed. This RFP outlines our requirements for IT support services, maintenance, and on-site repairs. We invite proposals from firms with demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure management, rapid response capabilities, and a presence in the Halifax region.

Scope of Services

The selected provider will be responsible for the following ad-hoc maintenance services:

Server Disruption Response

• Remote Troubleshooting: Immediate diagnosis and resolution of server issues (e.g., crashes, performance degradation, connectivity failures) via remote access.
• On-Site Repairs: Dispatch of technicians to the Pennant Point site for hardware failures, complex issues, or emergencies requiring physical intervention.
• Coordination with EastLink for connectivity-related disruptions, as needed.

Ad-Hoc Maintenance

• Reactive maintenance to restore server functionality, including software patches, hardware replacements, or configuration adjustments.
• Post-incident reporting to document the issue, resolution steps, and recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Spare Parts and Equipment

• Provision of spare parts or replacement hardware to expedite repairs.
• Management of on-site or nearby inventory to minimize downtime.
