We are seeking a highly experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with extensive experience in modern technologies and frameworks.
1. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Python.
2. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
4. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
5. Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex applications.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
7. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
1. 6-9 years of professional development experience in Python and related ecosystem of technologies.
2. Expert-level development skills in Python.
3. Experience with functional programming paradigms like Aspect Oriented Programming will be a plus.
4. Experience with Pandas library for data analysis and manipulation.
5. Fluency in formal language design concepts like type systems a plus.
6. A proven track record of architecting complex systems to work efficiently and reliably in mission critical applications.
7. Ability to recognize business risk and surface it to key decision-makers.
8. Demonstrate familiarity with core data science libraries.
9. Knowledge in python web frameworks like Flask, Django is a plus.
10. Deep understanding different package managers and test frameworks.
11. Experience in some of the following technologies continuous integration/delivery tools such as GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy and/or Pivotal Concourse.
12. Experience with quant research processes, methodologies, and tools a plus.
13. Experience with Financial Data a plus.
14. Familiarity with common collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, and Git, GitHub will be nice to have.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
16. Strong communication skills (technical descriptions and diagramming, escalation, written, in-person, adaptive as appropriate to the audience, etc.).
17. Willingness to own, research, and argue your points of view, bring new ideas to the table, but deliver according to consensus and expectations.
Required Level of Education (include certifications):
1. University or Technical Diploma in IT discipline with equivalent experience.
2. Formal Relevant Certification(s) will be a nice to have.
