The Scrum Workshop program is a hands-on, although virtually held, workshop series that assists Scrum team members in optimizing their teamwork and product delivery methods. In this program, participants work through exercises related to a Scrum project, from vision to iterative delivery. The program consists of eight 2-hour sessions, which include breakout exercises for small groups.

Upon completion of the program, participants have confidence in understanding Scrum and how they can apply it directly in their organization. They will have practiced concepts related to Scrum in class, and reflected on their learnings during the course, sharing them in small teams in the class.

Who should take this course?

This course is intended for professionals who want to implement Scrum in their workplace. Individuals who have already begun Scrum implementation in their organization and who want to verify their knowledge would also benefit from this course. Scrum applies to any size and type of organization.

If your business is not yet generating revenue from commercial activity, you may be eligible for funding if you are in an LAE identified priority sector (See Section 4.2)

Digital Nova Scotia will facilitate the funding process based on the information provided in the application below. Employees must be receiving full-time compensation while in training to be eligible for WIPSI funding. This may include employees who are full-time seasonal.

Complete the application below. If you are applying on behalf of multiple employees at your organization, you must complete a single form per employee.

Step 3: Wait for Eligibility Confirmation

Please give us at least 3 – 5 business days to respond to your email with your eligibility. Should we require any additional information, we will follow up with you. Note, space is limited, and submitting a form does not guarantee you a spot within the program. We encourage all interested organizations to apply as soon as possible.

Why get your Scrum certification?
