Nova Scotia RENs Partners for Progress 2023 Conference

Pictou County Partnership has the pleasure of hosting the annual Partners for Progress Conference. The 2023 conference works to support economic development throughout the province by bringing the Regional Enterprise Networks and other stakeholders and community members together for conversations surrounding a diverse spectrum of topics crucial to the growth and prosperity of our rural communities. Discussions and  development of action plans are focused on the four economic lenses: Grow Strategic Sectors: growing our share of high-paying, high growth, and high-productivity sectors. Increasing Productivity: enabling increased productivity for all sectors and businesses across the province. Planting the Seeds: investing in new ideas and entrepreneurship to grow the economy. Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF)

an online information session led by our esteemed member, ISANS, about the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF). Date: Monday, August 11 Time: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ADT Location: Online (link will be sent after registration) This one-hour session is ideal for immigrants who are Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens and are seeking to pursue training, certification, or recredentialing in their chosen or related fields. During this session, you will learn: Who is eligible for the AICLF What types of costs the loan can cover The kinds of training or programs supported How the fund is administered across Atlantic Canada Why AICLF may be a better option than private funding sources There will also be time during and after the presentation to ask questions.
