ISNS – Annual General Meeting

Interactive Nova Scotia is pleased to present this year's AGM virtually. Over the last year we've been busy hosting events, talking with industry members, and advocating on behalf of our members! We'd like to invite you to our 2021 Annual General Meeting to learn more about our work, our mandate, and our vision for the future. ISNS Connect

The Board Room Game Cafe 1256 Barrington Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

An afternoon of game demos, gamedev discussions and board games! The ISNS is pleased to present: ISNS Connect! Join fellow members, students, and friends of ISNS for an afternoon of game demos, gamedev discussions and board games! Admission includes snacks, as well as access to The Boardroom's library of 500+ board games! Attendees will also have the option of sharing their latest project with the group and gathering feedback during our dedicated "show & tell" hour. (If you are interested in presenting, please be sure to indicate this when purchasing your ticket.) Note: proof of vaccination, as well as government-issued photo ID, is required to attend this event.

About this event Join fellow ISNS members and friends of ISNS for an evening of socializing with a healthy dose of friendly competition: we'll be hosting a trivia game about the games industry, including some fun facts about the Nova Scotia games industry.

ISNS Industry Session – Co-ops and Funding

Learn about the SITE co-op programs, recruitment process, and wage subsidy programs that are available to support student hiring. Lori Baker is an Employer Development Coordinator with Dalhousie University’s Science, Information Technology, Engineering (SITE) Co-op office. She works with employers, including those in the technology industry, to assist them with their co-op student recruitment needs. Please join Lori to learn more about the SITE co-op programs, recruitment process, and wage subsidy programs that are available to support student hiring.
