We’re Looking for Your Input – 2022-2023 Workforce Insights Survey

As the provincial sector council for the digital and information, communication and technology (ICT) industry, our mission is to foster the growth of the digital economy in Nova Scotia. To do this, we directly connect with our community to better understand the challenges and opportunities that digital and ICT employers are facing. What we’ve heard time and time again is that there is a huge need for talent; the workforce and labour market are constantly changing. Although the digital and ICT sector continues to grow in Nova Scotia, this also means that talent recruitment and retention consistently appears as one of the top challenges that employers face - and thus, is one of our top priorities.Digital and ICT employers need the right people, with the right skills, for the right job. Last year, Digital Nova Scotia, in collaboration with 13 other Industry Sector Councils across the province, together forming the Association of Industry Sector Councils (AISC), launched the first version of the AISC Workforce Insights Survey; a labour market survey and analysis project that resulted in a comprehensive dashboard - a virtual tool that aggregated and communicated anonymous data, accessible by all Nova Scotian employers and other labour market stakeholders. With the success of last year’s LMI Survey and its results, DNS has once again partnered with AISC for the 2022-2023 AISC Workforce Insights Survey.Your input last year was invaluable, and, so, too, was your feedback. This year’s survey is more condensed and streamlined, ensuring that we only gather the information that will best serve our sector. Your participation in this year’s survey will put us in the best possible position to represent and address your present and future workforce needs once again. The anonymous results of this survey will be used to update the Labour Market Information Dashboard, providing concise and timely labour market information. We want to provide Nova Scotian businesses the best data to create the best outcomes! Please take 15 minutes of your time to help out the entire sector, complete the survey here!As a thank you for your valuable time, by participating in this survey, you will be eligible to win one of multiple gift cards valued at $50 or more! Finally, we would like to sincerely thank all of you last year who participated in this important survey. For further insights, we need the help of business owners or senior employees like you to find the answers to our sector’s collective problems.
