Please give a warm welcome to Digital Nova Scotia’s newest team member, Jena Legere, who will be joining our team full-time as a Project Marketing Coordinator!
Tell us about yourself! What is your education, your experience- what led to where you are today?
My most common thread so far in life is people. I have a bachelor’s degree from Dalhousie University in Sociology and International Development, and an Advanced Diploma in Event Management from NSCC, both of which I was drawn to due to my interest in others and learning from differences. From there my foray into the NonProfit world was ushered in by my love for my neighbourhood; telling stories through writing and photography and the people who live, work and play there.
So, you’ve finished your first few days with us – how was it?
My first day, while a bit (expectedly) overwhelming, ultimately made me feel like I made the right decision in joining the Digital Nova Scotia team. Everyone seems so kind, supporting and talented!
