Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) Applications OPEN

Canada’s Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) is an innovative and dynamic program aimed at helping Halifax's enterprises overcome barriers to exporting. The Halifax Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer TAP Canada in Halifax, a program that is quickly gaining momentum across Canada, and a reputation of achieving real results, fast. The Trade Accelerator Program is an innovative initiative, designed to accelerate the strategic development of your business and to better prepare you for an expansion into international markets. TAP Virtual is offered in Halifax and delivered in 7-half day sessions held over several few weeks, concluding with a one-on-on mentoring session. The uniqueness and success of TAP Canada reside in its dynamic hands-on approach to training companies, the direct involvement of top experts from the private and public sectors, the aggressive efforts to avoid the traditional academic classroom style of teaching business development and the practical and highly personalized coaching provided to each participating company. Why Apply?
- Explore New Markets - More than 71% of participants are now actively exporting in markets including China, India, Mexico, Japan, Sweden, U.K., Italy, and the United States.
- Grow Your Business - Average growth of 33% in export sales on year after participation.
- Build Confidence - Nearly 90% of participants declared themselves better prepared to do business internationally upon completing the program.
The program fee for TAP is $5000 per company. However, through the generous support of our sponsors, a bursary will be provided to you to lower the cost to $499 plus HST per company.Applications close on October 10, 2020 [fusion_button link="https://halifaxchamber.com/resources/tap/" text_transform="" title="" target="_blank" link_attributes="" alignment_medium="" alignment_small="" alignment="left" modal="" hide_on_mobile="small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility" sticky_display="normal,sticky" class="" id="" color="default" button_gradient_top_color="" button_gradient_bottom_color="" button_gradient_top_color_hover="" button_gradient_bottom_color_hover="" accent_color="" accent_hover_color="" type="" bevel_color="" border_width="" border_radius="" border_color="" border_hover_color="" size="" stretch="default" margin_top="" margin_right="" margin_bottom="" margin_left="" icon="" icon_position="left" icon_divider="no" animation_type="" animation_direction="left" animation_speed="0.3" animation_offset=""]Learn More[/fusion_button]
