Once launched, the Innovation team created the following programs to support an over-arching innovation program at Atlantic Lottery: Internal training program called Catalyst, Outreach program which supports Hackathons and academic activities, piloted Atlantic Canada’s first ever Corporate Innovation Lab, as well as, a specific innovation process. The Lab and the Corporate team has run more than 50 sprints, dozens of idea generation sessions, trained more than 120 employees in Design Thinking and Lean Startup Methodologies, hosted 12 hackathons and subsequently supported the creation of several products that have scaled, launched corporately and generated millions of dollars. Since then, the program has evolved and team members have attended and spoken at many conferences that are specifically designed for corporate innovators.
