Innovacorp - Opportunity for Ocean Technology Ventures - Four Streams to sea and do
Innovacorp has four exciting opportunities to help Nova Scotia ocean technology companies accelerate commercialization of new innovative products. New this year is the Blue Solutions Start-Up Challenge, a competition to find innovative solutions to problems in the ocean sector. First round finalists receive up to $10,000 and guidance from seasoned business professionals. Round two finalists receive up to $50,000. Awards are intended for the establishment and/or future development of the start-up. Ocean Technology Programs Our Demo at Sea Program lets companies demonstrate pre-commercial ocean technologies in a real-life setting (i.e., the ocean). Our Early Adopter Program provides companies with up to $20,000 each towards the first deployment and testing of an ocean technology product with an early adopter customer. And our OceanTech Development Program provides companies with up to $20,000 each to address short-term milestones in their technology development plan. Please note: there are different deadlines, eligibility criteria and application processes for each of these opportunities.

Participants can access up to $5,000 in services to strengthen their online visibility, digital marketing and the online experience they provide to travellers.

Digital Nova Scotia is proud to announce Osazemhojie Osaighale as the 2026 recipient of the Digital Nova Scotia TechQuity Award. A graduate of Auburn Drive High School, Osazemhojie is beginning his studies in computer science at Dalhousie University.
