Common Good Solutions, understanding the “diverse supplier community”

Do you own a business and identify as indigenous, a person with a disability, a person of colour or African Nova Scotian, LGBTQ2+, or a woman? Are you a social enterprise employing persons with disabilities? The Province of Nova Scotia’s Procurement Office wants to hear from you! We have contracted with Common Good Solutions to identify businesses from diverse communities across Nova Scotia to participate in a Supplier Diversity Survey. We want to understand the makeup and capacity of the business community from these communities to support our goal of diversifying the pool of potential suppliers who bid on government business. By agreeing to participate in this survey, businesses have the chance to provide the Provincial Government with valuable information to help identify opportunities and reduce barriers to engaging in business with the Provincial Government.
