Their blend of industry knowledge and platform expertise differentiates them and has earned them a 5/5 rating on the Salesforce AppExchange. The CloudKettle team of experts not only specializes in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Automation but; the Salesforce and Google ecosystems and the leading integrations for lead management, enrichment, and routing, and attribution.  Partnering with a firm that understands how people, processes, and technologies must integrate, seamlessly, is key to ensuring the long-term success of Marketing and Sales. This competitive advantage is one of the many reasons they’ve been able to expand their clientele and significantly grow their team this year (check out their open positions).

From Halifax to Silicon Valley

CloudKettle has transformed from two people in a basement to the consultancy that silicon valley CMOs swear by in the last six years. They are fortunate to work with some incredible organizations, and 2020 was a big year for their clients. A number of their clients were acquired, including Segment and Chef (congratulations!)

CloudKettle works with fast-growing enterprises that want to get the most out of their Marketing Technology investments. They focus on the people, processes, technologies and integrations to help companies grow. Those include SaaS, B2B, B2C, retail, financial services, healthcare, and even government agencies.

2020 was a tough and unpredictable year for everyone, but we were reminded again how lucky we are to partner with incredibly talented people. – Jon McGinley, Senior Partner at CloudKettle

Providing Salesforce Security Solutions with SafeGuard

CloudKettle’s team, like many organizations, had to transition to working remotely overnight in March of this year. “This wasn’t an easy shift, but most of our clients have always been in the US or across Canada. Which meant they didn’t see a dramatic impact on their productivity or quality of service.” Says Jon, “We have to give a huge shoutout to our team working from home through these unprecedented times while continuing to provide impeccable service.”

CloudKettle specializes in working with enterprise companies; a big focus for them has always been how to automate repetitive tasks at scale. For example, security is a priority for everyone they work with. After years of working with enterprises to help them audit and improve their Salesforce security, they built a 24/7 monitoring tool called SafeGuard.

SafeGuard will monitor your Salesforce instance and integrated tools, notifying you if something goes wrong. From ensuring all your installed packages are up-to-date and working properly, to alerting you of suspicious logins to your Salesforce instance and everything in between. Learn more here.

A Workplace Culture Focused on Learning

The opportunity to work on leading-edge digital marketing projects for some of the most exciting software companies in the world is a huge draw. Although they operate in Halifax (and remote within Canada), CloudKettle team members have the opportunity to work with global giants across North America.

At CloudKettle, they’re also really proud of their internal training programs. “Nova Scotia has amongst the most academic institutions per capita anywhere in Canada.” Exclaimed Jon, “We provide best in class training on the Salesforce platform as well as subsidized career training, including coverage of certification tests, in order to leverage the junior talent in our province.”

We also asked some of their team members if they could share what they love about working at CloudKettle, and here are some of the reasons they gave:

  • “Flat culture, ability to grow professionally and a flexible work environment.”
  • “[I have] access to a wide range of project opportunities to apply my expertise.”
  • “Variety in work and opportunity for education.”
  • “Everybody understands their role and how they are contributing to the success of CloudKettle.”
  • “Job security and growth of the organization.”

CloudKettle seeks out candidates who are curious, open minded, honest, and first principles thinkers.

In their recruitment process, their number one priority is setting new hires up for success. They search for those with both platform expertise, certifications, analytical problem solvers and excellent communication skills. However, for all of their junior positions, they do not require previous platform experience, certifications, or a university degree.
