Fall 2017 CEI Co-op Funding Application Deadline: May 19, 2017 – Digital Nova Scotia – Leading Digital Industry

The Cooperative Education Incentive (CEI) provides wage assistance to private sector, government-funded and non-profit organizations offering career-related work experiences for co-op students.

Employers must pay a minimum of $15 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. CEI reimburses $7.50 per hour to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Employers participating in the Industrial Research Assistance Program and the Scientific Research & Experimental Development tax credit may be eligible to receive up to $10 per hour for positions offering the minimum hourly wage of $15 per hour or higher.

HOW TO APPLY: Prior to submitting your application, you must first receive Co-op office approval of your job description and complete the other application requirements outlined on the CEI website.

REMINDER: Fall 2017 Applications must be submitted through LaMPPS

Please note that there can only be one centralized LaMPPS login per organization. If your organization has already been registered and you attempt to create a login, you will be directed to LAE to find out who the representative is within your organization so you can obtain the LaMPSS login information.

Last Day to Post for Rd I:  June 13th

Employer’s Rankings Due:  June 20th, at 4:00 pm Atlantic Time

Ranking Match Day:  June 23rd (employers notified in the afternoon)

Round II: Starts June 26th, this is real time and will continue until all students are employed or September 15th.
