- Employment expanded at a moderate pace in the month, up 0.6% on an annualized basis.
- Full time jobs increased alongside fewer part-time.
- The unemployment rate fell from last month, to 5.1%
- The goods producing sector lost jobs in November ( 9,400), while the services producing sector saw growth of 19,600 jobs.

Atlantic Canada
- Employment fell sharply in November, down from the previous month by 4,900 jobs.
- The job reductions occurred in both full time and part time positions, though primarily full time.
- The rate of unemployment saw no change from last month, remaining at 7.4%.
- The goods producing sector lost jobs in November ( 2,500), while the service sector saw job reductions of 2,300.
