Canadian mission to Web Summit

The Trade Commissioner Service, along with several provincial and municipal governments, will once again be collaborating on a Canadian mission to Web Summit, the largest tech event in the world, in Lisbon, November 5-8.

For those of you that will be attending (as well as for those who are considering it), check out the mission agenda, which outlines the Canadian programming that will be taking place during the course of the event.

This year’s Canadian delegation will be the largest to date and Trade Commissioners from all over the world will be in attendance to meet with these Canadian companies and assist them in tapping into new markets, connecting with investors, and providing business development services.

By joining Canada’s delegation at Web Summit 2018, not only will you be able to leverage events and networking opportunities reserved only for Canadian-based tech companies, but you also stand to benefit from discounted airfare and registration costs (for a limited time). Those that miss the deadline and are required to pay full price for registration will instead be eligible to receive a free ticket to Collision 2019, the fastest growing tech conference in North America, which is taking place in Toronto next May.
