The candidate will participate as a Supportability Engineering member of the Naval Development team in a multi-disciplined team environment working on the total engineering life cycle from specification, design, development, integration and test, deployment, maintenance and field trouble shooting for large scale, high complexity naval platform systems.
The candidate will participate in engineering activities including but not limited to:
Directly supporting the Supportability Cross Project Team (CPT) lead in tasks required to meet program needs such as reliability, maintainability and reliability analysis, development of Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR), sparing analysis
Hardware and software design and requirements analysis
Review of vendor data
Participating in design reviews
What you bring to the role
Current student in an STEM program.
Working knowledge of MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Aptitude for working well in teams.
Ability to work independently.
Results-oriented self-starter attitude.
Additional skills desired for the role
Knowledge of Systems Engineering, RMA and FMEA
Knowledge of UML-Unified Modelling Language
Knowledge of MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, DOORS, Windchill PLM
Well organized, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing work
Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French
