Technical Data Package Lead Engineer – Ship Integration

The selected individual will oversee the delivery of the Combat System Technical Data Package (TDP) to the Canadian Surface Combatant Warship Designer. This role entails the following duties:

  • Supervise the entire TDP project and execution of delivery.
  • Directly manage and harmonize all facets of the TDP, including GFX, DCS, FMS, and Cable components.
  • Lead a compact team of ship integration engineers (2-5) to carry out the entire spectrum of TDP tasks.
  • Utilize Jira and conventional Agile project management methodologies to plan, execute, and track TDP tasking.
  • Efficiently administer processes instrumental in the creation of TDP outputs.
  • Regularly interact with all vendors to ensure Subcontract Data Requirements List documentation (SDRLs) adhere to specified requirements.
  • Organize, manage, and conclude Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) reviews.
  • Consistently engage with both the client and subcontractors to validate TDP data.
  • Furnish periodic metric and status updates.
  • Identify and introduce improvements to TDP processes.
  • Guarantee the production and timely delivery of high-quality TDP products.
