Solutions Architect

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for formulating and delivering comprehensive solutions that align with client technical and business requirements. You will orchestrate Maplewave products, services, and partners to craft solutions that drive digital transformation across both digital and retail channels.​ Solutions Architect will be reporting directly to Director, Delivery. You are a natural leader who works well with others, providing knowledge and expertise, and ensuring projects are kicked off and closed correctly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Develop and present end-to-end solutions to architects, business owners, and customers, utilizing deep technical knowledge of our products and services.​
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and product management to deliver solution designs that meet client needs.​
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate solutions to executives, business sponsors, IT teams, and stakeholders.​
  • Technical Authority: Advise presales and sales teams during the sales and delivery process, serving as a technical authority.​
  • Product Feedback: Provide feedback to product management to drive the product roadmap, ensuring features are optimized to reduce deployment costs and improve solution quality.​

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the communications/telecom industry, with at least 5 years in solutions architecture or sales engineering roles.​
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in delivering OSS & BSS solutions. At least 5 years of software development experience using C#, .NET, or Java, along with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, focused on digital or enterprise applications.
  • User Experience (UX) Understanding: Demonstrated ability to apply UX principles in designing intuitive, user-centric interfaces. Skilled in translating user requirements into engaging experiences, optimizing usability, and collaborating closely with design and development teams to ensure products meet user needs effectively.
  • Digital Transformation: Demonstrated experience in designing large-scale enterprise systems and ensuring best practices in digital transformation projects for both digital and retail channels.​
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, with a preference for candidates holding relevant certifications.​
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.​
    Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues and customers, including business executives and technical teams.​
  • Leadership: Ability to influence key stakeholders and secure buy-in on technical decisions.​
  • Adaptability: Experience working in ambiguous environments and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.​
  • Customer Engagement: Ability to build and foster technical relationships with customers at all levels, including C-Level representatives.​
  • Other: Expected to be available to work 50% of the time in the office.
