Service Desk Analyst, Tier 1

Location: Dartmouth, NS

MOBIA is currently recruiting a Service Desk Analyst (Tier 1) to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. With a passion for technology and customer service, you will be an integral part of a customer-focused team with great attention to detail and respect for a job well done.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to internal computer users with technical problems and providing technical support via phone, email, or in person.
  • Troubleshooting end-user technical issues related to software applications, hardware assets, network elements, and telecommunications systems.
  • Following user guides and technical procedures to resolve issues as required.
  • Creating User Guides and Documentation.
  • Reproducing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical queries from users and third-party vendors.
  • Providing business systems, network, and internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Participating in the redesign of applications and other software.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Skills/Qualifications:  

  • Completion of related Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree, i.e., IT systems management, IT networking, etc.
  • 1 to 3 years of IT experience in Tier 1 support.
  • Strong organizational skills, strong critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Administration experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows desktop management.
  • Administration experience in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 solutions.
  • Previous experience with VMware or virtualization is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Networking and or Security appliances is an asset.
  • Being bilingual in French and English is an asset.
