Your new role

The SEO Specialist will play a key role in enhancing resulta’s web properties, driving organic visibility, and increasing search rankings through strategic SEO initiatives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to execute effective SEO solutions.

As part of resulta’s marketing team, the SEO Specialist will optimize on-page and off-page SEO, conduct in-depth keyword and competitor research, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve site structure, content performance, and backlink strategies. They will monitor SEO metrics, implement technical optimizations, and ensure website health through regular audits.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about search engine optimization. They will bring hands-on experience with SEO tools, a deep understanding of Google’s algorithms, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities that drive growth. A results-driven mindset and a commitment to continuous learning in the evolving search landscape are essential for success in this role.

What we want you to own in this role:

  • Conduct keyword and topical research, selection, classification and reporting;
  • Complete competitor gap analysis including link analysis / anchor text distribution;
  • Perform site health checks and identify ongoing action items to improve core keyword ranking over time;
  • Optimize on-page SEO for website meta data, schema, topical optimization, content length, page speed, etc.;
  • Identify areas for on-site improvements in site structure, internal linking, and content;
  • Collaborate with the Outreach team to optimize strategic link building, digital PR campaigns, and enhancing social media employing Off-Page SEO skills and best practices;
  • Conduct audits and fix errors found in Google Search Console and other tools;
  • Collaborate with Content Team to guide keyword targeting and search intent while mitigating cannibalization and scraping;
  • Monitor performance, analyze SEO metrics, and generate monthly and weekly reports to be shared with the Senior SEO Strategist;
  • Work and communicate collaboratively with cross functional teams to flag and mitigate problems;
  • Other duties as assigned.

A little bit about you and your qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ of hands-on SEO experience;
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools, website standards, UX for SEO, website reporting tools, and web analytics;
  • Expert knowledge of Google Search Console and Excel, and advanced in Google Analytics 4, with hands-on experience using a variety of tools, including crawling tools (e.g., Lumar, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog…), monitoring tools (AWR, Semrush…), and authority campaign tools (Ahrefs, LRT, Majestic…) to optimize and track SEO performance;
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and HTML/CSS;
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative metrics to communicate progress and identify meaningful trends;
  • Demonstrates initiative and independence in tackling complex problems;
  • Maintains professionalism and a high level of integrity;
  • Exceptional organizational skills, focus on quality, and attention to detail;
  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams, understanding different perspectives and contributing to team goals while ensuring alignment and progress;
  • Experience in optimizing for search engines beyond Google is a plus;
  • Familiarity with positioning fundamentals for LLMs like ChatGPT and other generative AI tools is preferred.
