Senior SDET
Position Summary:
• Working as a professional IT consultant on a large long-term project.
• The position demands one to be very proficient in coding especially Python, Pytest and Selenium.
• This role offers Hybrid work environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysis
• Support creation of Test Strategies & Test Plans including but not limited to design and development of test case automation
• Develop and maintain test cases, automated scripts, and traceability matrices.
• Facilitate the identification and preparation of test data.
• Ensure automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration, delivery, and testing (CI/CD/CT) pipelines.
• Provide subject matter expertise considering overall quality / performance, user experience, and future bug prevention.
• Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exists.
• Work collaboratively with the team and leadership to proactively identify and resolve issues related to product quality.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Automation Skills:
• Experience with Automated Testing (8+ years)
• Ability to code and read a programming language (Python)
• Experience in pytest, selenium (Python)
• Must have developed test automation frameworks
• Experience in API automation, UI automation
• Experience in Github actions
Description/Skill Set:
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS (preferred) or any cloud service
• Knowledge and working experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience in CI/CD/CT methodology
• Familiarity testing and interacting with Data Stores (both relational and non-relational) SQL, MongoDB, Postgress
• Familiarity with Virtualization and Containerization tools and concepts
• Asset if someone brings experience with airflow, Databricks, Data lake, Pyspark (nice to have)
