Senior Quality Engineer (Power BI Reporting)
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, Web App Test Metrics and Reporting SNOW Testing Tools and Frameworks. Required skills: what you need to be considered:
- Possess strong expertise in Web App testing and Test Metrics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SNOW and Testing Tools.
- Have experience in Manual E2E Business Process Assurance.
- Show basic programming knowledge to support testing.
- Skilled in using RALLY HP ALM and Jira.Experience in banking domain.
- Preferred skills: what will help you stand out:
- Experience in Cards & Payments domain is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI dashboard and reporting.
In this role, you will:
- Test and maintain dashboards for banking application. Test the reports, share the findings with Power BI team.
- Create and maintain robust data in Power BI (as sampling and later integrate with HP ALM/JIRA) , ensuring scalability and performance.
- Connect and prepare data from multiple sources, including databases, Excel files, SharePoint lists, etc.
- Utilize SNOW for tracking and managing testing activities.
- Conduct manual end-to-end business process assurance testing.
- Work closely with UAT/SIT stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data accuracy reported in Testing Dashboard , and deliver impactful suggestions to Dev team.
- Monitor and improve dashboard load times, data refresh processes, and DAX query performance.
- Lead the testing efforts for web applications ensuring high-quality deliverables.
