Senior Project Manager

Position Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-performing team across Canada and US. This role is pivotal in driving successful project execution, fostering collaboration, and aligning delivery with strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex project lifecycles, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and optimizing team performance through effective planning and communication.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Project & Team Management

  • Lead daily stand-ups, release meetings, refinement sessions, retrospectives, and weekly touchpoints.
  • Facilitate intake discovery, estimation, prioritization, and planning of work.
  • Manage enhancement requests and incident responses with agility and clarity.
  • Drive quarterly planning and innovation idea reviews.

    Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to negotiate priorities and align efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly intake reviews and governance meetings (e.g., CXP, CDIS, PM touchpoints).

    Tool & Process Oversight

  • Manage epics and stories lifecycle using AHA and Azure DevOps (ADO): Promote ideas to epics, assign and push to ADO. Ensure detailed documentation, tagging, and prioritization. Monitor aging tickets and maintain backlog hygiene.
  • Oversee team assignments in platforms like ServiceNow (SNOW) and Velocity.
  • Maintain MS Teams and SharePoint ownership for collaboration and documentation.

    Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports and monthly governance decks.
  • Create monthly release notes and provide escalation updates to leadership.
  • Ensure transparent communication across all levels of the organization.

    Team Building & Leadership

  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Recognize achievements, address concerns, and support professional growth.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in project management.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong expertise in AHA, ADO, ServiceNow, and project lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in capacity planning, estimation, and strategic alignment.
  • Scope management, change management, financial management

    Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the Agri / Crop Science or related industries.
  • Familiarity with innovation management and idea intake processes.
  • Exposure to customer experience (CXP) initiatives and governance frameworks.
  • PMP certification
