Senior Performance Media Strategist
The Senior Performance Media Strategist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance media campaigns across various digital channels. They play a pivotal role in driving client success by leveraging their expertise in paid search, display advertising, social media advertising, and other performance driven channels.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for setting up and managing campaigns across various digital platforms on an ongoing basis
- Optimize campaigns based on goals and review analytics to ensure goals are being achieved
- Work directly with Analytics team to report on insights and measurement of KPIs
- Establish channel and tactical strategies along the path-to-purchase
- Work directly with clients to present findings and strategy
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Work closely with Creative to develop fresh concepts and ideas that drive results
- Work with development teams on tracking plans, best practices, and issue resolution
- Manage client budgets effectively, optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI while maintaining campaign profitability
- Set up new accounts and implement account strategy while overseeing the team’s account strategies
- Present and report to clients as well as be the go-to escalation point for client questions and concerns on campaigns
- Proof dashboards, ensuring they are accurate prior to status meetings
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and developments in technology
- Draft POVs on new tools and tactics, as required
- Draft search and social copy, as required
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing paid media
- Post-secondary education in advertising, marketing, journalism, business, or relevant experience
- Able to prioritize and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced team environment
- Highly knowledgeable and proficient with paid social platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics and on-top-of new developments with Google
- Up to date on the latest digital trends and able to apply educated recommendations based on this knowledge
- Demonstrates an interest in researching new channels and methods of paid amplification
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication with experience presenting to clients
- Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
