Senior Enterprise Architect

Architecture Strategy & Advisory: Develop technology roadmaps and architecture frameworks for credit union clients, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Business Development Support: Partner with the executive team, Account Directors, and broader sales teams to articulate technical solutions, translate into compelling client outcomes and contribute to proposals and client presentations.
• Solution Design & Governance: Lead high-level solution architecture for core banking, digital banking, integration, cybersecurity, and cloud transformations.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring internal teams and clients on best practices in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and digital transformation.
• Technology Evaluation & Innovation: Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Regulatory & Security Compliance: Ensure technology strategies adhere to financial industry regulations, data protection laws, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with credit union executives, IT teams, and internal CGI delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Enterprise Integration & Scalability: Lead discussions on integrating digital banking solutions with existing core banking systems and third-party applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology consulting, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of core banking platforms, digital banking solutions, integration, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud technologies.
• Expertise in IT strategy, application modernization, microservices, API management, and data architecture.
• Strong understanding of emerging technology in areas of predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly recommendations.
• Experience working in a consulting environment with a strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong financial literacy, understanding how technology investments impact business performance and profitability.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and enterprise security frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or CISSP are highly desirable.
