As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a talented individual to join us as a Security Solutions Advisor.

Position Overview:

As a Security Solutions Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on best practices and strategies to enhance their cybersecurity posture. Leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity principles and technologies, you will assess clients’ current security infrastructure, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, evaluating their current security posture and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Translate complex security framework requirements into practical policies, tasks, and control activities.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on cybersecurity best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized cybersecurity solutions tailored to their organization’s specific needs and objectives.
  • Advise clients on the implementation of security controls, policies, and procedures to enhance their resilience against cyber threats.
  • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity frameworks/standards, privacy regulations, threats, trends, and technologies, and provide proactive guidance to clients to address evolving risks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader on cybersecurity matters, delivering presentations and sessions to educate clients and internal teams.
  • Provide additional support with content writing for clients and internal teams in order to assist with implementation and maintenance of an information security program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field considered an asset.
  • Minimum of at least one relevant certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH).
  • Project Management experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on advising clients in diverse industries.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies, including but not limited to network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and identity and access management.
  • Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments, risk assessments, and client report generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual (fluency in French and English) is considered an asset.
