Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in driving business development efforts, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in existing and emerging engineering sectors across global markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, preferably in engineering services, and a strong ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in targeted sectors such as Automotive, Industrial Products, Solar Energy, and others.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs and positioning Pentadesk’s solutions accordingly.
  • Represent Pentadesk’s capabilities in product design, patent development support, and full-cycle engineering services.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to tailor proposals and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and account nurturing.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote Pentadesk’s services and brand presence.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in engineering services, product development, or technical consulting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, results-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the U.S. patent process and NPD lifecycle is a strong asset.
  • Experience working with international clients and across multiple engineering sectors.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
