RocketBid is a Nova Scotia–based SaaS company building modern software for the auction industry.

We work with auction houses, estate sale companies, and liquidators across Canada and the U.S., helping them run online and live auctions more efficiently through a single, modern platform. Our team brings together experience in technology, product design, and auction operations, and we’re continuing to grow as demand increases for better digital auction tools.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a remote commission-only sales representative to support our continued growth.

This role exists because RocketBid is already in use, the market is responding, and demand is increasing. Rather than trying to do everything ourselves, we’re looking to bring in someone who enjoys relationship-driven sales and building long-term value.

This is a commission-based role only, with ongoing residual commission tied to the clients you bring onto the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing
– Connecting with auction houses and related businesses
– Introducing RocketBid and how it supports modern auction operations
– Booking and running product demos
– Following up with prospective customers
– Supporting onboarding and long-term customer relationships
– Building a book of business that generates recurring commission over time

We provide training, demo materials, scripts, and ongoing support. You focus on conversations, follow-ups, and relationships.

Compensation
– Commission-only role
– 10% commission on sales you close
– Ongoing residual commission for the full duration of the client’s lifecycle with RocketBid
– No cap on earnings
– Clients across Canada and the U.S.

This role is best suited to someone who understands residual commission models and is comfortable building income over time rather than relying on a base salary.

Backgrounds that often work well include commission-based sales, real estate, insurance, mortgage lending, or SaaS sales. Direct experience in auctions is not required.

– Require a guaranteed base salary
– Prefer highly structured or tightly managed sales environments
– Are uncomfortable with outbound conversations
– Are looking for a short-term or purely transactional role
