We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL and AI/ML Engineer to design and deliver scalable, production-grade data and GenAI solutions. This role will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to build intelligent, secure, and compliant systems—ranging from optimized database components to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and multi-agent orchestration frameworks—supporting complex business requirements across multiple domains.
About the Role
In this role, you will build and optimize Oracle PL/SQL components and modern AI/ML systems using Python, APIs, and cloud-native patterns. You will contribute to end-to-end solution delivery including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will also help drive engineering excellence through code reviews, performance tuning, and mentorship.
In This Role, You Will
- Design and develop robust Oracle PL/SQL components including procedures, packages, functions, and performance tuning to support complex business requirements and ensure optimal system performance.
- Architect and implement AI/ML pipelines and LLM-based solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and multi-agent orchestration frameworks for intelligent, context-aware applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable technical solutions using Python, FastAPI, and cloud-native architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI models, APIs, and data pipelines to ensure reliability, continuity, and strong operational outcomes.
- Optimize model inference, vector search queries, and data engineering processes to improve performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Apply best practices for AI system design, fine-tuning, and deployment to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to maintain high coding standards and foster continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate functionality and reliability prior to production release.
- Work closely with stakeholders across domains such as Healthcare, Energy, HR Tech, and Finance to understand operational needs and align technical solutions accordingly.
- Stay current with advancements in large language models, cloud platforms, and MLOps tooling; proactively apply improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Support production deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and provide post-implementation support.
- Ensure compliance with domain-specific regulatory requirements, including HIPAA (healthcare) and safety guardrails for LLM deployments, across all technical deliverables.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, packages, functions) and performance tuning.
- Proven experience in AI/ML engineering and Python-based development, including building and deploying production-grade services/APIs (e.g., FastAPI).
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and/or crewAI (or similar frameworks) in real-world implementations.
- Solid understanding of model optimization techniques, vector search performance tuning, and efficient data pipeline architecture using tools such as FAISS, Pinecone, and/or pgvector.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges across AI systems, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive learning mindset with demonstrated adoption of emerging technologies, including advanced fine-tuning approaches (e.g., QLoRA) and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, including experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities across domains.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions aligned to organizational goals (examples may include measurable improvements such as reduced research time or operational efficiency gains).
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience delivering compliant AI solutions in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, governance and safety guardrails for LLM deployments).
- Strong MLOps experience including monitoring, CI/CD automation, model/version management, and production reliability practices.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize retrieval pipelines (embedding strategies, chunking, reranking) and vector databases for high-accuracy RAG systems.
- Multi-domain delivery experience across Healthcare, Energy, HR Tech, and Finance with measurable business impact.
- Experience building cloud-native architectures and scaling services using containers and orchestration platforms.
